As an Engineering Intern at Apex you will work alongside experienced engineers project managers and technical professionals on a variety of challenging and rewarding projects. This internship provides meaningful hands-on experience mentorship from industry experts and exposure to multiple engineering disciplines including civil environmental electrical transportation water resources utilities land development and water/wastewater engineering.

Interns will have the opportunity to build technical skills expand their professional network and explore potential career paths within a growing consulting organization while contributing to real-world projects that make a lasting impact.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with engineering design analysis and project documentation.
• Supporting field investigations site visits inspections environmental sampling and data collection efforts.
• Preparing calculations reports drawings and other project deliverables.
• Utilizing engineering software and technology tools to support project work.
• Collaborating with project teams to solve technical challenges and meet project objectives.
• Participating in both office and field assignments to gain well-rounded industry experience.
• Communicating effectively with team members clients and stakeholders as needed.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters degree program in Civil Engineering Environmental Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong written verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
• Eagerness to learn take initiative and develop professional engineering skills.
• Valid drivers license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Sponsorship not available now or in the future.
