Position: Engineering Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $60$125/hour
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Develop design problems from past work including loads constraints and tolerances to evaluate AI model attempts.
• Grade model-written analyses by assessing failure modes assumptions and safety factor applications.
• Identify discrepancies where model designs meet calculations but fail in practice due to manufacturability installation or standards.
• Collaborate with AI research teams to enhance training data quality and model performance.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines and improve AI model performance.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• A degree in an engineering discipline with professional design or analysis experience.
• Clear written communication skills for explaining reasoning.
• Comfort with ambiguous tasks and willingness to flag unclear instructions.
