Engineering Co-op

Based on business needs and candidateinterests co-opopportunities may exist within engineering manufacturingoroperations.

Potential Responsibilities

Provide supportofEnd-User Aftermarket Application Engineering team and local Sales Engineers in various business activities related to mechanical seals seal support systems and pumps. The activities include but not limited to

• Acquirebasic knowledge of pump and mechanical seal fundamentals to support Flowserve activities.

• Supportmanufacturingteam on projects related to cost reduction and process improvement.

• Work with regional operations leadership to develop standardization initiatives.

• Research specific equipment information per customer requirements.

• Create technical customer-facing final job reports and as-found condition reports.

• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a degree in Engineering Mechatronics Manufacturing Engineering Industrial Engineering Engineering Technology or related curriculum and in good standing.

• Good communicationskills

• Proficient in basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office programs.

• Strong problem-solving analytical communication interpersonal and teamwork skills.

• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working in a hands-on fast-paced team-oriented environment that may include office laboratory and manufacturing settings.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability toutilizemeasuring equipment (ie. dial calipers micrometersetc.)

• Experience in SolidWorks
