Shift: Sun.- Tues./Sun.-Wed. 6pm-6am(402 - B Shift)

The Engineering Assistant I at Jabil Inc. supports engineering teams in various tasks contributing to the development testing and maintenance of products and processes. This role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals to gain practical experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist engineers with the collection analysis and interpretation of data.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation reports and presentations.
• Support the setup calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment and test fixtures and JIGs
• Perform basic engineering calculations and simulations under supervision.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing quality and supply chain.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to products or processes.
• Participate in prototype assembly testing and validation activities.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed an Associates or Bachelors degree in Engineering (e.g. Mechanical Electrical Industrial Manufacturing) or a related technical field.
• Strong foundational understanding of engineering principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks AutoCAD) is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Problem-solving aptitude and a willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods as needed in a manufacturing environment.
