Job Summary
Job Title: Electronics Engineer
Client: Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company
Duration: 2 Years (Possible Extension)
Location: Horicon WI 53032
Shift: 1st Shift (8:00 AM 5:00 PM CST)
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and integrate vehicle electrical systems for riding lawn mowers and compact utility tractors.
- Develop electrical system requirements (hardware and software) with cross-functional teams.
- Design and release wiring harnesses and electrical components.
- Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) for electrical systems.
- Support product development testing validation and production builds.
- Collaborate with Supply Management Quality PV&V Program Management and suppliers.
- Conduct feasibility studies design reviews and engineering analysis.
- Develop engineering specifications documentation and technical reports.
- Manage engineering projects risks timelines and deliverables.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and implement design improvements.
Must-Have Requirements
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
- 3 years of vehicle electrical system design integration or testing experience.
- Experience designing/testing electrical components wiring harnesses and schematics.
- Knowledge of hardware and software integration.
- Experience managing engineering project deliverables.
- Understanding of product development processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
- Ability to support off-shift production builds as needed.
- Ability to travel up to 10% (domestic and international).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with agricultural or off-highway vehicle development.
- Experience in creating and maintaining electrical system BOMs.
- Experience with embedded software validation (SIL/Hil).
- Experience using 3D CAD tools for wiring harness development.
- Project management experience.
- Experience mentoring or leading engineering teams.
- Systems engineering experience.
- Advanced engineering training in related disciplines.
