Engineer II

Job Summary:

The Engineer II is responsible for the implementation of the entire project cycle and provides engineering support for operating assets.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Implements entire project cycle for projects of moderate size and complexity including design development material procurement construction and project completion.
• Communicates with company personnel and contractors for project implementation.
• Prepares technical construction specifications for individual projects.
• In facility planning role prepares and presents pipeline simulation results for new and expansion projects.
• Reviews project plans and details for code compliance proper company and safety standards and good engineering practices.
• Evaluates project bids and makes material selections.
• Effectively manages budgets timelines and problem resolution related to multiple projects.
• Provides engineering and troubleshooting support for operating assets.
• Manages and executes small to medium projects.
• Participates in PSM activities such as PHA/LOPAs PSSRs and MOC processes.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Effective communication skills both written and verbal for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in engineering principles and practices relevant to the energy sector.
• Experience in project management including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong technical skills in areas such as design construction and operation of energy infrastructure.
• Knowledge of relevant codes regulations and industry standards.
• Ability to analyze and solve technical problems related to energy systems and equipment.
• Experience with engineering software and tools used in the energy industry.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a focus on achieving project goals and deadlines.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage project documentation and requirements effectively.
• Commitment to safety and environmental stewardship in engineering practices.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in engineering required
• Previous natural gas industry experience required
• 3 years of engineering project management experience
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Experience with engineering analysis including specialty software

Physical Demands and Hazard for Field Employees:

This position may require occasional travel to remote sites potential exposure to flammable material adherence to safety protocols compliance with operating regulations and will require rigorous physical demands.
