• Maintains and repairs heating cooling and ventilation systems to ensure consistent and reliable environmental control.

• Services and troubleshoots refrigeration systems and related accessories.

• Repairs and calibrates pneumatic and electronic equipment and temperature control systems.

• Maintains and tests emergency electrical systems to ensure readiness during power outages.

• Installs maintains and repairs locks and door hardware.

• Performs routine and emergency maintenance on electrical systems throughout the facility.

• Tests inspects and repairs fire safety equipment including alarms and sprinkler systems.

• Maintains and services patient care equipment to support safe and effective clinical operations.

• Conducts day-to-day running repairs to support the continuous and safe operation of hospital services.

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completed courses in apprenticeship program for journeyman engineer.

Experience:

• Four years minimum experience.
• Knowledge of heating cooling and ventilation.

• Current valid applicable state drivers license and a driving record that meets insurance carrier requirements.
