Location: Chandler Arizona (Onsite)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Software Engineer Embedded to support the development integration and testing of real-time embedded software for advanced computer and weapon system applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in C/C development on Linux embedded real-time systems RTOS environments and the full software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Support requirements development architecture development detailed design coding unit testing integration and testing of real-time computer embedded software.
• Develop and maintain embedded software using object-oriented software development practices.
• Ensure software development activities comply with established software standards processes and quality requirements.
• Debug troubleshoot integrate and test embedded real-time software.
• Collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
• Participate in software integration and system-level testing activities.
• Contribute to the complete software development lifecycle (SDLC) from requirements through integration and test.
• Apply strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve software and system issues.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Computer Systems Software Engineering or a related technical field.
• Professional experience with object-oriented software development using C/C in a Linux environment.
• Experience developing debugging and testing embedded real-time software.
• Experience working in real-time operating system (RTOS) environments such as:
  • VxWorks
  • Integrity
  • LynxOS
  • Yocto Linux
  • Or an equivalent RTOS environment
• Experience working across the full software development lifecycle.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must possess an active DoD Secret security clearance investigated within the last 5 years.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with PowerPC ARM and/or RISC-V architectures.
• Experience with real-time computer-in-the-loop (CIL) and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) integration and testing laboratories.
• Experience developing interfaces to support weapon system integration efforts.
• Experience with embedded software integration and system-level testing in defense or aerospace environments.
