Researches develops designs and tests electrical components equipment systems and networks. Designs electrical equipment facilities components products and systems for commercial industrial and domestic purposes. Candiate will serve as the senior integrator and must be recognized in field as a subject matter develops designs and tests electricalcomponents equipment systems and electrical equipment components products andsystems for military and industrial advanced technical principles theories andconcepts. Contributes to the development of newprinciples and concepts. Work on unusually complextechnical problems and provide solutions which arehighly innovative and ingenious. Works underconsultative direction toward predetermined long-rangegoals and objectives. Assignments are often self-initiated. Determine and pursue courses of actionnecessary to obtain desired results. Develops advanced technological ideas and guides their development into a final product. Erroneous decisions or recommendations would typically result in failure to achieve critical organizational objectives and effect the image of the organization technological capability. Serves as organization spokesperson on advanced projects and/or programs. Acts as advisor to management and customers on advanced technical research studies and applications.
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited university and 14 years of experience

Possesses professional level expertise regarding PowerSystem Shipyard Interface Working as the Integratorbetween Navy and our vendors both in design and on theship: Role is managerial in nature and is responsible foraggregating IPS component sub-systems into onesystem so that the IPS is able to deliver overarchingfunctionality and ensuring that the sub-systems functiontogether as a system. Provides direct oversite to the subsystems HII is responsible for including ElectricPlant/lPS control system (EPC) Electrical DistributionSystem and Diesel Generator Sets. Ensures subsysteminterface requirements are understood and met acrossthe design team including vendors - Assists in thedevelopment of: Electrical Power Load Analysis (EPLA);Electrical One-Line Diagram; Power Load Analysis;Power Voltage Drop; Transient Analysis; IPS systemCONOPS (Concept of Operations); Test Procedures;Land Based Test Sites (LBTS) and Land BasedEngineering Site (LBES); Vendor procurement and testplans; Drawings and drafts HII tech technical guidance and direction to engineersacross disciplines responsible for interfacing professional technical mentoring for other engineers.
