Endoscopy Scope Processing Technician
40 Hours Weekly Full Time Dayshift
Join our team and play a vital role in patient safety and exceptional care. We are seeking a detail-oriented Endoscopy Scope Processing Technician to ensure endoscopic equipment is properly cleaned disinfected sterilized maintained and ready for clinical use.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean inspect assemble test high-level disinfect and sterilize endoscopic instruments and equipment according to established protocols and manufacturer guidelines.
- Process and maintain a variety of endoscopes and specialty equipment including GI pulmonary ERCP/EUS ION and related instruments.
- Perform leak testing and verify proper function of scopes and patient care equipment.
- Maintain accurate documentation and tracking of equipment maintenance records and patient-related data within electronic systems.
- Monitor scope processing drying and storage areas to ensure compliance with infection prevention and regulatory standards.
- Keep work areas clean organized and stocked to support efficient daily operations.
- Immediately report equipment concerns safety issues or processing discrepancies to leadership.
- Participate in department meetings annual competencies and ongoing education.
- Assist with onboarding and training new team members as needed.

Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Must obtain SGNA within 2 years
HSPA/Certified Endoscope Reprocessor certification within 2 years
