Job Summary
The Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) will operate within their certification and/or license form the state of Minnesota. The EMR will also follow standing orders and standard operating procedures established by the medical director(s). Routines of the ambulance department are established by the ambulance director. These will be also followed by each member of the ambulance squad. These routines are spelled out in the standing orders and the SOPs. EMRs are employees of the CentraCare Health and are expected to follow all hospital policies. The EMR will strive to provide the highest quality of care possible of every patient. This will be accomplished through personal and team efforts. Training education and quality assurance are the responsibilities of both the department and the EMR as an individual.
Schedule:
- Casual opportunity
- Various days and shifts to include 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am
- Will include weekends and holidays
Pay:
- Pay based on experience
- Pay Range $21.12-$31.68

Requirements:
- Completion of certified emergency medical responder (EMR) program.
- Emergency Medical Responder Current Minnesota State Certification as an EMR.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR
- Basic Cardiac Life Certifications
- Current and valid MN drivers license.
- Demonstrated planning and implementation skills.
- Demonstrated communication skills including the ability to work effectively as a team member.
- Self-direction and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated skills as an EMR as observed by the ambulance director and/or medical director(s).
- Must be able to speak English proficiently.
