Baker Law Group is seeking an Employment Law Attorney to join our growing Denver team. This role is built for an attorney who wants meaningful responsibility direct client contact and a varied practice that combines employment counseling with active litigation. You will manage matters from early assessment through resolution and when necessary hearing or trial.

Our employment practice addresses a broad mix of workplace disputes and business needs including discrimination harassment retaliation wrongful termination wage and hour issues leave and accommodation matters employment agreements restrictive covenants and related claims. The position offers room to exercise judgment develop client relationships and grow with a full-service firm that is expanding across the region.

Manage a varied employment law caseload with appropriate support and oversight.

Develop case strategy assess risk and provide clear practical advice to clients.

Handle employment litigation in state and federal court including pleadings motions written discovery depositions hearings mediation settlement and trial preparation.

Counsel clients on workplace disputes personnel decisions employment agreements policies and compliance-related questions.

Communicate directly with clients opposing counsel courts agencies experts and other stakeholders.

Collaborate with attorneys across the firms litigation and business practices when matters overlap.

Maintain organized files meet deadlines and keep clients informed throughout each matter.

Contribute to the continued development of the firms employment law practice through excellent work strong relationships and sound professional judgment.

At least 3 years of employment law experience.

Active license to practice law in Colorado and good standing with the Colorado Supreme Court.

Demonstrated litigation experience; deposition hearing or trial experience is strongly preferred.

Strong legal research writing negotiation and oral advocacy skills.

The ability to manage multiple matters exercise independent judgment and meet competing deadlines.

A client-focused approach and the ability to explain complex legal issues in practical terms.

A collaborative mindset professional accountability and an interest in helping build a growing practice.

Base salary: $150000 to $190000 depending on experience qualifications and the needs of the role. This position is also eligible for a performance-based bonus in addition to base salary.
