Overview
Client is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer with experience developing real-time C/C software for Linux and real-time operating systems running on multi-core processors. This role supports embedded software and firmware development and integration within a collaborative Agile environment.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with embedded software development software/firmware integration and modern source control and Agile development practices. An active Secret clearance is required prior to start.
Core Responsibilities
Develop and maintain real-time embedded software using C/C on Linux and real-time operating systems running on multi-core processors.
Perform software and firmware integration activities to support embedded system functionality and performance.
Participate in Agile development processes including Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
Utilize GitLab and Bitbucket for source code management collaboration and development workflows.
Essential Qualifications Skills and Technologies
Active Secret clearance with the most recent investigation completed within the last 5 years.
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Computer Science Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
5 years of C/C embedded real-time software development experience using Linux on multi-core processors.
5 years of hands-on software/firmware integration experience.
3 years of experience working in Agile development environments including Scrum or Kanban.
Experience using GitLab and Bitbucket.
Preferred Skills or Experience
Working knowledge of the Yocto operating system.
Familiarity with Data Distribution System (DDS) middleware programming.
Work Details
Onsite full-time in Orlando Florida.
Work schedule: 4/10A 1st Shift.
