Embedded Software Engineer

Overview
Client is seeking a Software Engineer to support embedded software development for equipment control systems. This role focuses on developing and integrating software solutions for embedded hardware using C/C with an emphasis on controls logic and human-machine interfaces.
You will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to develop test and deliver secure high-quality embedded software solutions throughout the software development lifecycle.

Core Responsibilities
Design and implement secure high-quality embedded software solutions for equipment controls.
Collaborate with software firmware controls hardware and applications teams to ensure effective subsystem integration.
Support the full software development lifecycle including requirements design documentation prototyping implementation and unit testing.
Deliver secure high-quality software products in a timely manner.
Contribute to a collaborative engineering environment and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Qualifications Skills and Technologies
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on embedded software development experience; recent graduates with successful internship or co-op experience are encouraged to apply.
Strong software design and programming skills using C/C.
Experience with development tools such as Git and Jira.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work on-site in New Freedom Pennsylvania.
