Required:

• Active US Government Secret Security Clearance. Security Clearances are granted to US Citizens
• Bachelors degree in computer science/software engineering/computer engineering or related degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• 2 years of applicable experience:
  • Demonstrated firsthand experience with embedded software development and converting C code to Rust
    • Successful candidates will have experience with low level/bare metal embedment software design and coding in both C and Rust
  • Demonstrated experience with embedded processors and SoC development
  • Direct integration experience with ARM based systems interacting with firmware

Preferred Skills:

• 5 years of applicable experience
• Experience with openOCD and gdb
• Proficiency in constrained Rust environments: no-std & heapless development
• Experience working with AMD Zynq UltraScale MPSoC ZCU102 Evaluation Kit
• Analytical critical thinking skills for various engineering development situations
• Visualize project outcomes and understand/manage technical risks
• Out-of-the-box thinking
• Familiarity SEI CMMI as tailored to small agile development teams
• Advanced knowledge of ANSI C Rust and Python
• Demonstrated troubleshooting skills for low-level embedded issues and memory management
• Direct knowledge of software technologies standards processes and metrics
• Knowledge of NSA High Assurance Certification process is a plus
• Knowledge of relevant US DoD developments and systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to interact with team members in a collaborative environment
• Positive attitude strong work ethic willingness and ability to support complex technical tasks
