Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology media and telecommunications location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas help deter security-related incidents support access control activities and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and/or vendors at a technology media and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents access concerns and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business perimeter entry points and common areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access control points visitor activity and/or alarm systems as assigned documenting observations and reporting unusual conditions.
• Prepare accurate incident reports maintain required logs and communicate professionally with site contacts emergency responders and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of experience as a military police officer corrections officer armed guard or be a certified law enforcement graduate.
• Demonstrate a minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute.
• Hold a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
