Job Summary
The Bass Lake Joint Union Elementary District is made up of three schools: Oakhurst Elementary School (TK-5) Oak Creek Intermediate School (6-8) Wasuma Elementary School (TK-8). We serve students from Oakhurst Bass Lake Ahwahnee and Fish Camp. At 2300 ft. elevation we experience hot summers all the way to snowy cold winters. We have some of the best teachers and staff in the mountain area and our supportive families are very engaged in our school programs. Yosemite is a short drive up the mountain Bass Lake is a few minutes away and big cities like Fresno Clovis and Madera are about an hour down the mountain.
This posting is for an Eligibility Pool to establish a list of qualified candidates for the upcoming school year. Final hiring decisions are contingent upon 2026-2027 enrollment projections. While a specific vacancy may not be confirmed at this time successful candidates in this pool will be the first considered as staffing needs are finalized.
