Position Summary
Braham Area Schools is seeking a dedicated student-centered professional to serve as a full-time Special Education Paraprofessional at Braham Elementary School. This position is 33.75 hours per week and is scheduled for student contact days only.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required.
- Associate degree or higher preferred and/or ability to obtain a Paraprofessional certificate.
- Ability to accept direction from supervising teacher(s) and work effectively as a member of a professional team.
- Adequate oral and written communication skills.
- Understanding of and ability to comply with student data privacy laws.
- Ability to work effectively with students with a variety of learning behavioral and developmental needs.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors during the school year.
- Commitment to creating a safe supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Salary
According to the Secretary/Paraprofessional contract.
