Position:ItinerantElementary STEM Teacher at Mary T. Murphy and Mary R. Tisko schools

Supervision received:Reports to Director of Elementary Education and Building Principals

Essential Duties:

• Deliver high-quality elementary science instruction aligned to district curriculum course expectations and the Next Generation Science Standards.

• Plan and implement engaging lessons that promote inquiry scientific reasoning critical thinking and problem-solving.

• Develop and refine curriculum units lessons assessments and instructional materials aligned to course goals and standards.

• Use effective classroom management instructional routines and assessment practices to support an inclusive learning environment.

• Assess student learning analyze results and adjust instruction to meet diverse student needs.

• Collaborate and communicate professionally with colleagues administrators families and other stakeholders to support student learning.
