Electronics Technician Epoxy Temporary position

This is a Temporary Position - Monday through Friday 8am-5pm

• Work with blueprints templates sample parts and process sheets.
• Assist in the preparation of molds and forms.
• Route drill trim and sand parts to blueprint dimensions and tolerances.
• Prepare surfaces and paint composite components.
• Apply spray coatings using a high-volume low-pressure spray gun.
• Mix and pour epoxy resins into molds for transformer coils and components ensuring proper degassing and vacuum pressure.
• Inspect finished castings for defects such as voids or cracks ensuring compliance with design specifications
• Assist in the development of shop aids for fabrication trimming and assembly.
• Maintain quality control records and ensure a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and operating procedures.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with composites manufacturing layup lamination and blueprints.
• Experience with vacuum bagging/mold casting fabrication prepreg and carbon fiber.
• Proficiency in using hand tools like hand drills scissors and electric heat guns.
• Experience with measuring instruments such as scales calipers.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• Respirator certification may be required.
• Ability to work extended hours and lift assemblies weighing up to 50 lbs.

At TAE Technologies we consider a wide range of factors when making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and job-related knowledge training; licenses and certifications and other business and organizational needs. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements depending on the position offered (non-Sr. Sr. Lead or Manager). The compensation range for these roles are $35.00 - $42.00 an hour.
