Job Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in the operation of EW equipment during field exercises testing demonstrations and operational missions. Support system setup teardown transportation
With supervision and guidance diagnose faults using test equipment technical documentation and established troubleshooting procedures
With assistance integrate and configure EW systems subsystems antennas RF equipment power distribution networking and hardware in laboratory and field environments
Fabricate cables harnesses and other duties as required to support system configurations
Must be able to support field work to include operations missions and testing across a range of environments and conditions including variable work schedules and exposure to austere or adverse weather conditions. Travel is required for field operations mission support and testing. Provide input for progress and status reports. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:
High School diploma 1 years of relevant experience or higher degree.

Equivalent Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with RF communications radar electronic attack/protection or related defense systems preferably in field or operational environments. Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes signal generators multimeters power meters spectrum analyzers and other RF/electronic test equipment. Familiarity with cable fabrication soldering/crimping wiring electrical troubleshooting mechanical assembly and use of common shop tools. Ability to read and follow technical manuals schematics diagrams
Ability to understand requirements provided by engineering staff. Ability to work in team environment. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.

Special Certification/Licensure:
Must be authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Ability to obtain a DoD clearance and maintain clearance throughout employment. This position is subject to random drug testing in compliance with its drug-free workforce requirements.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

Environment: Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements such as extreme temperatures dirt dust fumes smoke unpleasant odors and/or loud noises.

Physical Effort: Moderate physical activity.

Lifting Requirements: Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day.

Risk: Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks which require following basic safety precautions.
