ElectroHydraulic Engineer

Summary:

Oxbo Forage Division is seeking a self-motivated individual with a passion for agriculture. This position will have responsibilities which include delivery of new products solving complex problems and prioritizing and delegating work directions to engineers and/or designers.

Principle Duties and Areas of Responsibility:

• Develop hydraulic and electrical systems to meet product requirements.
• Solve problems as they relate to these systems.
• Collaborate with software engineers on system requirements
• Create and maintain in E3 and Solidworks/Creo systems the electrical/hydraulic schematics.
• Design 3D routings with Mechanical Engineers for the best routing path including defining attachment points
• Investigate and troubleshoot both prototypes and machines in use at customer sites.
• Involved in research and development projects in order to continue to improve the work
• Ensure that production and installation drawings and drawings of electrical and hydraulic components meet the required specifications
• Create and maintain bills of materials (BOM) options and variants for the electrical and hydraulic systems
• Assist production with technical challenges supply issues or other production-related problems
• Experience with data acquisition equipment as it relates to the hydraulic field.

Qualifications:

• 5 Years experience with a proven track record of completing projects in the electrical and hydraulic domains
• Education: Bachelors in Electrical Control/Automation Mechanical Engineering or related fields;
• Core Experience: Zuken E3 Windchill/Solidworks PDM 3D routing tools
• Protocols & Tools: CAN bus J1939 (ISOBUS/ISO11783 preferred); (Codebeamer/Polarion; Office tools).
• Domain Exposure: Agricultural machinery off-highway automotive or mechatronic systems.
• Language: English fluency.
