Electro-mechanical Technician

Introduction

Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Electro-Mechanical Technicianposition. This position is a contract opportunity which is expected to be on-site in Orlando FL.

As an Electro-Mechanical Assembler you will play a critical part in the production of advanced inspection systems by assembling complex mechanical electro-mechanical and cable harness sub-systems to exact specifications that meet rigorous industry standards.

Technical Operations:

• ExecutefirstarticlebuildsandsupportEngineeringChangeRequests(ECRs)
• Performassemblyandrepairtasksonbothnewandrefurbishedequipment

• High school diploma GED or equivalent.
• Experience assembling mechanical products equipment machinery or components in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to read and follow assembly instructions diagrams blueprints or technical drawings.
• Experience using common hand tools and power tools.
• Basic understanding of nuts bolts screws fasteners and other hardware used in assembly.
• Experience working with small wires including cutting stripping connecting and routing wires.
• Experience using soldering equipment to connect small electrical wires and components.
• Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and identify assembly issues.
• Experience completing production paperwork and quality documentation accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures.
• Ability to meet production goals while maintaining quality standards.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.

Preferred Experience Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

• Three or more years of manufacturing assembly production or equipment repair experience.
• Experience assembling machines industrial equipment automated equipment or electromechanical products.
• Experience repairing rebuilding or refurbishing equipment.
• Experience performing basic testing of assembled products to verify functionality.
• Background in electronics assembly wiring cable assembly or electrical component installation.
• Military technical experience related to equipment maintenance repair or assembly.
• Trade school vocational training or technical certification related to manufacturing mechanical assembly electronics or industrial maintenance.
