Electro-Mechanical Assembler

The primary functions of the position are to assemble small mechanical and electrical components and sub-assemblies used in the production of machines in accordance with assembly prints wiring diagrams schematics and established work instructions.

Job Duties

• Ensure implementation of Company safety health and environmental programs. Follow safe work practices and ensure the work environment is protected in accordance with Company policy and applicable governmental regulations.
• Comply with the Companys policies principles and procedures including Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) discipline/corrective action and security procedures.
• Assemble small mechanical and electrical components and sub-assemblies in accordance with Duro Dyne assembly prints and established work instructions.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams schematics and assembly prints to accurately complete assigned assemblies.
• Assemble connect and route wires and other electrical components in accordance with applicable diagrams and schematics.
• Install fittings and a variety of small parts and components as required.
• Inspect completed components and sub-assemblies for proper assembly wiring and workmanship.
• Identify and report defective components incorrect parts or assembly issues as necessary.
• Prepare completed components and sub-assemblies for use in the final machine assembly process.
• Maintain an organized and safe work area.
• Label and crate machines in accordance with established instructions and procedures including proper identification of the machine name and serial number.
• Perform other duties as necessary.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED

Experience

• 2-3 years of manufacturing or assembly experience

• Experience reading and interpreting wiring diagrams schematics and assembly prints preferred

• Electrical assembly or wiring experience preferred but not required

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to use a magnifying glass.
• Must have the manual dexterity necessary to assemble small parts components and wires.
• Must have good hand-eye coordination.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Must be able to sit stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.

Compensation:This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $18.00 $23.00 /hour. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market and the skills education experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
