About the Role
seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Industrial Electrician to join our maintenance this role you will be the backbone of our facilitys electrical integrity supporting everything from critical infrastructure and facility lighting to complex support for new capital projects. We are looking for an individual who thrives in a highly regulated safety-first environment and possesses the technical expertise to handle systems up to 480V.
Key Responsibilities
Facility Maintenance:Perform proactive and reactive maintenance on facility electrical systems including lighting power distribution and HVAC electrical controls.
Project Support:Collaborate with engineering and project teams to install test and commission electrical components for new facility upgrades and capital projects.
System Troubleshooting:Utilize advanced diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment including motor control centers (MCCs) VFDs transformers and switchgear.
High-Voltage Competency:Safely perform tasks on systems rated at 480V and below adhering strictly to NEC NFPA 70E and internal GNF safety protocols.
Safety Leadership:Act as a champion for Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures Arc Flash safety and general industrial hygiene.
Documentation:Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities test results and system modifications within our computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).

Required Qualifications
Education:High School Diploma or GED and completion of a formal electrical apprenticeship or relevant technical/vocational certification preferred.
Experience:3 years of experience as an industrial electrician preferably in a manufacturing or nuclear environment.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in working with 480V/3-phase power distribution.
Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics blueprints and wiring diagrams.
Hands-on experience with diagnostic instrumentation (multimeters meggers etc.).
Certification:Valid state-issued Electricians license (Journeyman level or higher highly preferred).
Physical Requirements:Ability to work in varied environments including heights confined spaces and industrial workspaces while wearing necessary PPE.
