Pay Range: Compensation for this position is $19.89/hr plus an additional estimated $28.57/hr in production pay paid weekly. Teammates in this position annually average between $96500 - $105000.

This position includes but is not limited to:
The successful candidate willpossessa working knowledge of electrical principles and practical experience as itrelates to the electrical maintenance function.
The technician will provide electrical support to the production crewsmaintain troubleshoot and repair electrical andautomation systems.
The qualified candidate must be willing to work rotating shifts including nights weekends vacation coverage andholidays.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.
Two-year degree successful completion of electrical trade school or a minimum of three years industrial experience or military.
Knowledge of automation and networking equipment and processes such as PID/closed loop control systems networking tools and standards Variable Frequency Drive experience (ABB AB) and HMI programming and troubleshooting
Communication Skills - The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
Initiative - Willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges.
Problem Solving & Judgement/Decision Making - Identifying problems and analyzing or reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
Teamwork - Working as part of a coordinated effort with others to achieve a common goal.
Engineering and Technology - Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles techniques procedures and equipment to work at hand.
Dependability-Being reliable responsible and dependable and committed to fulfilling obligations
NFPA 70E training and applied experience
Overhead crane knowledge and repair experience Basis pneumatic and hydraulic system knowledge
