Electrical Reliability EngineerColumbus MSPay Rate: $95000 - $125000Multiple factors including Individual experience skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay Salaried Full-Time About The Role:This position supports Global Cellulose Fibers Columbus Modified Fiber plant (CMF). CMF is a converting operation that produces specialty fibers used in the production of diapers and other absorbent personal care products. We have an immediate opening for an Electrical Reliability Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for moderately complex engineering projects and direct the work of assigned technical associates. They will promote increased performance of machinery and equipment through failure analysis and report to the Maintenance Electrical Reliability Engineer will:Work with plant operations maintenance and engineering to implement strategic initiatives that support achievement of reliability objectives key performance metrics maintenance cost objectives and capital projects executionResponsible for all aspects of project management: scope development estimating planning design prioritization scheduling implementation/construction management and budget managementResponsible for assigned Maintenance projectsProvide Training support for E&I Maintenance Team membersSupport the Electrical Power Distribution Program activitiesResponsible for equipment reliability improvementsResponsible for ensuring projects are compliant with all environmental and safety requirementsProvides electrical and instrumentation (E&I) design support for Plant capital projectsSupport the planning effort of Plant shutdowns to include: complex job planning job coordination resource planning and financial managementMonitor effectiveness of E&I predictive and preventative maintenance programsIdentify and develop opportunities for improvement and optimization based on failure analysis outcomesAbout You: Knowledge Skills and Abilities Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience in a manufacturing environmentMinimum of three (3) years engineering experience in a manufacturingenvironmentPower Distribution and/or Control Systems (i.e. Emerson Rockwell Honeywell) requiredStrong computer skills including proficiency with AutoCAD and all Microsoft Office applicationsExperience in the pulp and paper industry is preferredExcellent leadership skillsProven commitment to safety and safety processesStrong technical foundation in control systems and electrical engineeringHigh level of initiative and motivationStrong communication skills (oral & written)Able to excel with minimum supervision and work independentlyDesire and ability to work as a team playerDesire to aggressively learn and continue to develop knowledge and skillsAbout Global Cellulose Fibers (GCF):Our GCF business helps customers transform renewable cellulose fibers into essential everyday products.
