Electrical & Instrumentation Technician (Travel) Richmond VA

Skillforce is immediately hiring experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Technicians for a minimum 28-day project in Richmond VA. As an Electrical Instrumentation Technician you are responsible for troubleshooting repairing and maintaining electrical instrumentation and production equipment in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment producing non-ferrous metals.

Pay:$45/hour based on experience.

Travel & Per Diem

• $178 per day per diem ($1246 per week) paid for all days while traveling.
• When traveling your time is compensated at your regular hourly rate
• If traveling by personal vehicle mileage will be reimbursed at $0.70 per mile
• If traveling by air the flight will be provided with reimbursement for rental car and fuel

Schedule

• 28-day project
• 7 days per week
• 12-hour shifts
• Must be available to work day or night shifts.

Electrical & Instrumentation TechnicianResponsibilities

• Troubleshoot repair and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems on industrial production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment used in non-ferrous metal manufacturing.
• Install troubleshoot and maintain electrical controls and PLC systems.
• Rebuild and replace failed equipment components.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics blueprints wiring diagrams and manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment while following all safety procedures.

Electrical & Instrumentation TechnicianQualifications

• Minimum 5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting experience with:
• Allen-Bradley PLCs
• Electrical controls
• Three-phase motors
• Switches sensors and related industrial electrical systems
• Ability to work extended hours weekends and either day or night shift.
