Electrical Engineering Co-Op

The primary responsibilities of this role are to: Design and test electronic circuitry; Generate test plans and protocols; Analyze test results and compose test reports; You will also troubleshoot problems during testing assume ownership of specific test methods and sub-modules and routinely provide readouts to the larger hardware team about the progress of your work.

This is a 12 month co-op position beginning in January OR May of 2027.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and test electronic circuitry;
• Generate test plans and protocols;
• Analyze test results and compose test reports;
• Troubleshoot problems during testing and assume ownership of specific test methods and sub-modules;
• Routinely provide readouts to the larger hardware team about the progress of your work.

WHO YOU ARE

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

Required Qualifications:

• Enrollment in an Electrical Engineering degree program;
• Completion of at least second year of a Bachelors degree;
• Experience with basic electronic test equipment;
• Classwork in circuits hardware design physics and statistics;
• Attention to detail positive attitude good work ethic;
• Ability to independently troubleshoot;
• Teamwork experience through coursework lab work and/or internship;

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Python Matlab and schematic entry tools;
• Medical device classwork.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary of approximately between $24.00 to $45.50. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).
