Electrical Engineer I Relocate to Warroad, MN

• Design and problem-solving activities: Design troubleshoot and validate electronic circuits and systems used in new product development initiatives.
• Automation: Design develop and validate automated test systems used to evaluate product performance reliability and functionality.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical reports engineering documentation test procedures and product specifications.
• Circuit Board Design: A basic understanding of circuit board design and firmware development and testing.
• Product Knowledge: Become intimately familiar with our current electronic products and how they are implemented into our fenestration products.
• Exposure to mechanical design or electromechanical product development.
• Build modify and evaluate prototypes to support concept development and product validation.
• Other functions: Product installation and setup testing production support soldering of small electronics with high quality a plus Ability to read and comprehend engineering systems requirements documents

• Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering required.
• 0-2 years of experience within related industries
• Working knowledge of 2D and 3D Modeling software (Inventor preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word Outlook Excel etc.) preferred
• Working knowledge of PCB design tools embedded systems experience lab equipment Oscilloscopes data acquisition systems preferred.
• Experience developing mechanical and electromechanical design solutions preferred
• Must be able to be a positive member of a team environment an individual who possesses self-motivation skills and is dependable and trustworthy
• Must be able to problem-solve and communicate effectively
• Must possess proficient organizational interpersonal and multi-tasking abilities and be able to work with power tools and computer equipment
