Job Summary
The Camera Hardware Engineering group is responsible for the design development and innovation of camera hardware for all related Apple products. Our target is to deliver extraordinary hardware to enable outstanding camera user experience. We are looking for an enthusiastic passionate individual who can help us with tomorrows challenges!
Independently drive component level requirements and develop schematic designs for innovative camera modules components containing image sensors microcontrollers low-noise power supplies AF/OIS drivers and high-speed serial interfacesnAnalyze circuit parasitics and tolerances to ensure correct operation over the specified voltage and temperature rangesnSupervise layout for PCB Flex and substratesnExperience resolving challenges relating to power quality high-speed signal integrity and control clear and comprehensive electrical documentation for design and manufacturing partners to complete design test and validationnCollaborate with X-functional teams to simulate test and validate performance of all designsnDevelop electronic prototypes for new camera features and product conceptsnOccasional travel may be required but is not a critical component of this position
BS in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Physics or related fieldnAnalog and/or digital circuit design including Schematics capture and/or supervising layout for substrate rigid PCB or FlexnExperience in signal and power integrity (High-speed design PDN analysis)nExperience in system integration knowledge for grounding shielding EMI EMC and ESD
Masters of Science or PhD in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Physics or related field with 3 years of relevant industry of layout strategies for Substrates Rigid PCB Flex or Rigid-Flex including good understanding of material selection Stack-up planning and noise suppressionnExperience with high-speed interfaces : MIPI DisplayPort HDMI PCIE etc. circuits and designs: LDO Buck ADC DAC Op-AMP etc. and control interface like I2C SPI SPMI UART -on lab experience with hardware bring-up and debugnExperience with high volume consumer electronics design for manufacturing testing and reliability (DFM DFT DFR)nKnowledge of CMOS image sensor ISP or image processingnExcellent written verbal and communication skills focused on teamwork and collaboration in a dynamic cross-functional environmentnStatistical data analysis and visualization (ex. JMP)
