We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join a collaborative Austin-based team with the backing mentoring and resources of a global organization. This role supports precision solar measurement products including RD300i Mars and Cell Wash and is ideal for an electrical engineer who enjoys hands-on product ownership from concept and PCB design through bring-up validation NPI production support and sustainment.

This is a full-time on-site position in Austin Texas.

What you will own

  • Design and improve mixed-signal and embedded electronic hardware including schematic capture PCB design and layout review.

  • Collaborate closely with firmware engineers to design validate and bring up devices troubleshoot system-level issues and support reliable product performance.

  • Contribute across the full product lifecycle from ideation and prototypes to productization manufacturing readiness release and ongoing sustainment.

  • Partner with production test quality and manufacturing teams to diagnose issues support new product introduction and drive lasting corrective actions.

  • Work hands-on in the lab with instrumentation test setups calibration methods and troubleshooting tools to improve consistency yield and throughput.

  • Support products designed for demanding field environments including outdoor exposure temperature variation compliance needs and customer-site performance.

What you bring

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related STEM field such as hardware engineering computer engineering physics or computer science with strong applied electrical engineering experience.

  • 5 years of hands-on electrical engineering or product hardware experience.

  • Experience taking hardware from prototype through validation and into production or field support.

  • Strong fundamentals in PCB design schematics analog/digital circuits microcontrollers and hardware/firmware interfaces; direct sensor experience is helpful but trainable.

  • Confidence using oscilloscopes multimeters power supplies signal generators soldering and rework tools.

  • Clear communication skills including the ability to explain electrical engineering concepts to technical and non-technical audiences and a collaborative approach aligned with Veraltos focus on inclusion belonging ownership and continuous improvement.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associates position within the salary range will be based on several factors including but not limited to relevant education qualifications certifications experience skills seniority geographic location performance shift travel requirements sales or revenue-based metrics any collective bargaining agreements and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $90000 - $115000 USD per year.
