Electrical Engineer (0-3 yrs)

We are seeking a dynamic innovative and quality-oriented individual to join our team as an Electrical Engineer with a bachelors degree and up to three years of experience. The ideal candidate should have a desire to work and grow as a team player within a multi-discipline engineering firm.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Approximate Base Salary  $75000.00 - $105000.00 based on experience.
• Paid overtime at 1.0 times hourly rate.
• Competitive end of year discretionary bonus based on company/team/personal performance.
• Hybrid Work Schedule (subject to change).
• 401k with maximum of 5% Contribution Matching for 9% Employee Contribution.

Skills Knowledge and Abilities:

• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and construction methods.
• Interest in working within a collaborative multi-disciplinary engineering consulting environment.
• Passion for the design of power distribution lighting and communications systems.
• Knowledge of applicable codes and standards including the National Electrical Code (NEC) California Electrical Code (CEC) and California Building Code (CBC).
• Ability to perform electrical load calculations branch circuit design voltage drop analysis short-circuit studies and photometric calculations.
• Experience using AutoCAD and/or Revit for electrical system design and documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to work effectively as part of a project team.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and work independently under appropriate engineering supervision.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Experience with photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage system (BESS) design is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Experience developing photometric analyses using AGi32.
• Experience with SKM PowerTools ETAP or similar platforms.
• Experience preparing California Title 24 compliance calculations using EnergyPro or similar software.
• Experience with photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage system (BESS) design.
• Exposure to the AEC (Architecture Engineering and Construction) industry and building systems design.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university required.
• Engineer-in Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Registration preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or progress toward licensure is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience or strong interest in electrical design for commercial
