Job Summary

Electrical Design Technician

Direct Hire

Fully onsite Southern NH (Salem)

Job Responsibilities:

Debug and design validation of board and system level electronic designs
Design validation testing (major focus on electronics)
Conduct testing of mechanical electrical and optical components subsystems and systems
Document experimental conditions and test results
Build prototypes and test fixtures; interface with external vendors for complex parts
Inspect incoming parts
Manage lab and lab equipment including calibration
Effectively interact with other members of the technical team to create a safe fun and productive work environment
Design and verify cables
Job Requirements:
Minimum: an associates degree and 10 years of professional experience.
Experience reworking PCBs solder to add or remove components
Experience with at least one data acquisition system
Use of lab equipment (Oscilloscope DVM Function generator soldering station etc.)
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
Debug under the guidance of an Engineer
Attention to details
Eagerness to learn new skills and new tools
Excellent interpersonal written and oral communication skills
MSOffice tools
Altium designer (considered a plus)
Simple mechanical machining skills (considered a plus)
Some 3D mechanical CAD experience (considered a plus)
Programming of motor drives (considered a plus)
Jr. level layout and design of PCBs (considered a plus)
