Electrical Controls Technician I

Responsibilities:
Wire electrical panels and electrical devices using small hand tools and measuring devices
Point to point QA/QC
Read and understand assembly drawings
Continue to build technical depth of Chart water processes
Panel integration and wiring to systems on shop floor
Wire components panels and assemblies including PLCs motors drives and power supplies
Test functional performance to ensure wiring and assemblies are operational

Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to sit
Use hands to finger
Handle or feel objects tools or controls
Stand walk stoop kneel crouch crawl or climb ladder
Ability to stand and/or walk up to 8-10 hours a day
Able to lift up to 50lbs

Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Experience:
2 plus years experience
Knowledge:
Assist with equipment installation
Analyzes and interprets test information to resolve design related problems
Finding documents
