Electrical Construction Superintendent

Job Summary
The Electrical Construction Superintendent is a fixed-term role supporting a major construction restart program with an anticipated duration of 12 months. Reporting directly to the Construction Manager this individual will serve as a key member of the construction management team and will oversee all day-to-day electrical construction activities on site.
This assignment has the potential to develop into a long-term opportunity for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate electrical installations and systems throughout the project ensuring all work is completed safely on schedule within budget and in compliance with quality standards.
- Review and enforce adherence to project plans drawings specifications and construction standards.
- Partner with field engineering personnel to inspect electrical work and verify compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Identify and address construction deficiencies or deviations to minimize delays and maintain productivity.
- Review electrical designs drawings and specifications and provide constructability feedback.
- Maintain and submit daily construction reports documenting progress labor hours equipment usage weather conditions permits inspections and other project records.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to resolve technical issues and support successful project execution.
- Serve as a liaison between contractors subcontractors project stakeholders and the construction management team.
- Provide direction oversight and coordination to contractors and site personnel.
- Participate in daily and weekly planning and coordination meetings.
- Communicate project status risks and challenges to the Construction Management Team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Construction Management or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Minimum of four (4) years of electrical construction supervision experience preferably within mining industrial or heavy construction environments.
- Demonstrated experience overseeing large-scale electrical installations and infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical construction methods materials equipment and industry best practices.
- Familiarity with mine safety regulations (MSHA) and environmental compliance standards.
- Excellent communication leadership analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Valid drivers license.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
