Electrical CAD Technician

• Assist with preparing new drawings and revising existing engineering drawings of basic components from specific sketches or layouts.
• Responsible for adhering to company and client drafting standards and procedures.
• Responsible for adhering to ANSI standard drafting practices.
• Assist in drafting design and documentation for various projects.
• Assist with tasks utilizing various drafting and design software.
• Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by managers.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Minimum Associates degree in CAD related program or specialized CAD certification plus 2 years of relevant drafting experience.
• Minimum of a 3.0 GPA.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical is a plus.
• Experience with Revit is a plus.
• Self-motivated and eager learner aptitude to grow and develop within the field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with engineers project managers clients and other stakeholders.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office particularly Excel Word and Outlook.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage documentation and priorities across multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing accurate high-quality work.
• Demonstrated technical aptitude with the ability and willingness to quickly learn new software platforms systems and technologies.
• Demonstrated initiative to identify process improvements and implement more efficient ways of working.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently (i.e. without time limitations without restrictions or without need for work sponsorship) in the country where this position is located.
