Electrical and Instrumentation Technician

Heavy manufacturing company near Charleston South Carolina needs an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to control power and sensor systems in the plant.

Relocation assistance is available.

• Maintain and troubleshoot high voltage (12.5KV) systems with 120 VDC controls.
• Maintain and troubleshoot 480 VAC distribution systems and motor starter circuits.
• Maintain and troubleshoot 120 VAC and low voltage AC/DC motor control circuits.
• Maintain troubleshoot and program AC & DC variable frequency drives.
• Maintain troubleshoot calibrate install repair and inspectall other unspecified plant electronic and instrumentation devices and equipment as needed.
• Maintain and troubleshoot overhead cranes which include static stepless controls and wound rotor motors.

Qualifications :

US military members or former members with Electrical and Instrumentation Technician experience highly desired. (This is an immediate opening.)

Several years experience working in a heavy manufacturing environment such as primary metals mills paper textile mills or packaging bottling cement-making etc.

Completion of a craft training program in industrial electricity.

Familiar with Microsoft Office IT databases.
