Job Overview & Core Responsibilities
The Electric Motor Winder/Coil Winder is responsible for the mechanical overhaul of electrical rotation equipment. Standard expectations for this type of role include:
- Rewinding Equipment: Rewind AC/DC motors stators armatures rotors generators and field coils.
- Data Recording: Strip damaged motors down and precisely record all original winding data and dimensions before removal.
- Manufacturing: Cut form and install new copper windings manually or by operating winding machinery.
- Testing & Assembly:Perform insulation testing brazing silver soldering and final testing of motor integrity using surge and insulation meters
