EHS Manager

KC Elite Staffing is partnering with a growing manufacturer in Arkansas City KS to find an experienced EHS Manager to lead their safety and environmental compliance efforts.

This is a leadership role for someone who takes ownership of workplace safety and knows how to build a culture around it not just enforce a checklist.

What Youll Do:
Build and manage EHS programs that keep the company compliant with OSHA EPA DOT and other regulations
Lead audits and inspections then turn findings into real improvements
Own incident investigations from root cause to corrective action
Train employees and leadership on safety best practices
Track EHS metrics to guide smarter safety decisions
Keep emergency response plans current and tested
Mentor site-level safety staff or coordinators

What You Bring:
Bachelors degree (Environmental Science Occupational Health & Safety Engineering or related Masters a plus)
8 years of EHS experience including 3 years leading a team or program
Solid grasp of OSHA EPA NFPA and ISO 14001/45001 standards
Manufacturing background in food & beverage
EHS certification (CSP CIH CHMM preferred)
