EHS Engineer (Onsite Only on W2)

Contract 6 months
On Site M- F 7-3 PM EST

Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist to provide on-the-floor EHS support at our manufacturing facility.
The primary responsibilities would include:
Bechlers degree in engineering with certification any with safety.
Conducting routine floor audits and safety observations.
Supporting employee engagement and safety initiatives.
Assisting with incident investigations and corrective action follow-up.
Monitoring compliance with applicable EHS policies and procedures.
Providing guidance and coaching to operators supervisors and managers on EHS matters.
Assisting with hazard identification and risk reduction activities.
Supporting safety training and communication efforts as needed.
Maintaining EHS documentation and assisting with compliance-related activities.
We are seeking a candidate with demonstrated experience in a manufacturing environment and strong working knowledge of:
OSHA regulations and compliance requirements.
Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) programs and machine safety.
Fall Protection requirements and implementation.
Dock safety including pedestrian and powered industrial vehicle interactions.
ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 Management systems
Emergency Response Programs emergency preparedness and incident management.
Risk assessment and hazard identification methodologies.
Incident investigation and corrective action processes.
- Employee safety engagement and behavior-based safety initiatives.

Required Skills:
