EHS Engineer I

• Assist with routine safety inspections audits and hazard assessments; document findings and communicate results to supervisor
• Support incident investigations by collecting data documenting facts in accordance with OSHA and CG Global EHS requirements
• Help maintain EHS records including training logs SDS permits and compliance reports
• Participate in safety training material development and assist with new associate onboarding and recurring compliance training; ensure proper training documentation
• Assist with job hazard analyses (JHAs) and risk assessments; support risk level reduction planning
• Monitor basic compliance activities including PPE usage housekeeping standards and safety signage visibility throughout the facility
• Support environmental programs including waste management recycling tracking and hazardous materials handling
• Track corrective actions and follow up on completion status
• Assist in coordinating emergency response drills and training; assist with auditing condition and availability of emergency response equipment
• Support end-to-end workers compensation claims process including incident documentation rootcause analysis recordkeeping and return-to-work coordination
• Utilize MS Office and analytical skills to prepare EHS reports and metrics
• Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
• Protect Chamberlain Groups reputation by keeping information confidential
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshopsreadingprofessional publications establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies.
• Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.
