EHS Coordinator | Austin, TX

HazTek is hiring an experienced EHS Coordinator in Austin TX to be at the center of a safety program! Youll be on the floor in the field and deep in the compliance work that keeps our people safe and our operations running.

• Oversee all aspects of the project ensuring OSHA compliance
• Identify hazards coach safe behaviors deliver training and build a safety culture that works on the line not just on paper
• Respond to EHS incidents and emergencies: activate procedures collect preliminary findings and support root cause investigations
• Manage the full RCRA hazardous waste program storage labeling satellite accumulation drum logs and coordination with disposal contractors
• Conduct daily safety meetings and audits
• Ensure all personnel wear their personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing industrial or field operations environment required
• Electrical experience required; familiarity with lithium-ion battery storage systems or NFPA 855 is a plus
• OSHA 30 certification required
• Fortlift certifification required
• NFPA 70e is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 and 1926 RCRA hazardous waste requirements and EPA/TCEQ regulations
• Excellent verbal and written skills
