EHS Campus Lead

We develop and manage Apples global real estate portfolio lead all related capital construction projects provide outstanding facilities and site services develop and lead sustainability initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of all Apple facilities including commute and renewable energy programs and do everything we can to ensure the health and safety of all Apple personnel facilities and customers in our facilities around the world. nnThe Environmental Health u0026 Safety team at Apple is growing and we are looking for an upbeat dedicated and flexible professional to join a team committed to protecting the environment health and safety of our employees customers and the global communities where we operate while supporting our partners in their mission to develop amazing Apples EHS Lead you will provide all aspects of EHS support across a variety of workplace settings including but not limited to office spaces content production stages and research laboratories. You are a self-starter who can work independently anticipate the needs of the team and take initiative to seek out improvement opportunities. You are inventive ambitious and highly organized individual who enjoys solving problems in creative ways in a fast-paced environment.n

As an Apple EHS Lead you have a deep understanding of occupational health and safety requirements and workplace evaluation as well as a knowledge of applicable environmental regulations and laws. A proven track record to effectively interact and influence is crucial.

Performing EHS inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with all applicable EHS regulations and global standardsnCoordinating chemical inventories emergency evacuation drills new equipment and chemical reviews operational risk assessments and regulatory agency inspections and completing assigned compliance tasks in a timely mannernConducting incident investigations and developing corrective action plans to prevent future occurrencesnStaying up to date on regulations and standard processes and making recommendations for improvements to procedures and programsnHandling EHS documentation and record keeping ensuring all vital permits and reports are completed accurately and on timenActing as a point of contact for EHS related inquiries and concerns from employees and onsite contractorsnCoordinating and responding to onsite emergency response effortsnParticipating in the review of operations processes and procedures at the proposal/design phase and throughout implementation to control and reduce EHS hazardsnCollaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement EHS initiatives and improvements - Providing mentorship and training to employees on procedures and practices to promote an outstanding culture.n

7 years of EHS experiencenBachelors degree in a relevant EHS disciplinenKnowledge of hazard identification risk assessment and incident investigation methodologiesnExperience in developing maintaining and implementing written EHS programs and processes tools and materialsnExperience providing laboratory and facilities EHS supportnAbility to be on call and work off hours as needed and is comfortable with acting as a first responder in emergency scenariosn

Masters degree in a relevant EHS disciplinenEHS experience in multi-national companiesnNationally recognized professional credentials preferred (i.e. Board Certified Safety Professional (CSP) Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM))
