As an EHS Admin (Environmental Health and Safety Administrator) you will support the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) department in ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting a safe and healthy work environment. You will assist in administrative tasks related to EHS programs and initiatives helping to maintain documentation coordinate training and support compliance efforts.
- Assist in maintaining EHS documentation including policies procedures and records. Coordinate EHS training programs including scheduling sessions tracking attendance and maintaining training records.
- Support the implementation of safety initiatives and programs to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
- Assist in conducting safety inspections and audits documenting findings and tracking corrective actions.
- Assist in the development and dissemination of safety communications including newsletters posters and email updates.
- Respond to employee inquiries and requests related to EHS issues providing guidance and support as needed.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for EHS meetings and management reviews.
- Enters monthly KPIs into corporate database and monitors for accuracy and trends and is responsible for using established EHS data processes such as Benchmark and MESH Prism to manage data.
- Maintains training matrices to ensure that all training is defined and tracked to completion.
- Basic understanding of EHS regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint). Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Internship or coursework related to EHS or occupational health and safety.
- Familiarity with EHS management systems. Certification or training in EHS-related topics. Experience with EHS software or database management systems.
- 01 years of experience in environmental health and safety or a related field (entry-level position).
