Role Overview:
We are seeking anEducation Account Managerto engage with select educational institutions ensuring deep formalized relationships that drive adoption ofOnshapesinnovative CAD platform. You will introduceOnshapeto new schools and universities while helping those already familiar with the softwaremaximizeits impact on their students. This role is ideal for a passionate advocate of education and technology who is motivated by building long-lasting partnerships and delivering real value in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
GrowOnshapesfootprint in the education sector through targeted outreach and account management strategies.
Cultivate strong formalized relationships with key K12 and higher ed institutions to drive deeper engagement withOnshapeidentifyingopportunities for deeper integration and expansion.
IntroduceOnshapescloud-native CAD platform to new educational institutions highlighting how it can enhance their engineering and design programs.
Engage with university and K12 decision-makers to formalize partnerships that incorporateOnshapeinto their curriculum.
Develop strategies to introduceOnshapeto new educational institutions focusing on value-driven discussions and tailored solutions.
Collaborate with Marketing and Customer Success teams to align your territory strategy with broader businessobjectives including event participation and digital marketing efforts.
Manage a portfolio of strategic accounts balancing new business development with relationship nurturing.
Partner with Education Solutions Engineers to demonstrate Onshapes capabilities overcoming technical objections where necessary.
Maintain accurate records of account activities in Salesforce providing regular updates on progress and forecasts.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Engineering Business Education ora relatedfield.
2-4years of experience in account management sales or education-related roles.
Proven ability to build andmaintainstrong relationships with educational institutions.
Basic understanding of CAD software and its applications in engineering education.
A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced results-driven environment.
Proficiencyin English is.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Experience closing sales and driving customer success particularly in the education or technology sectors.
Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce to manage your sales pipeline effectively.
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to deal with ambiguity in asomewhat newrole that is being continuously defined

PTC carefully considers a wide range of factors when determining compensation. The anticipated annual salary range for this position is between $80000 - $100000. The anticipated annual salary range encompasses both the base salary and the on-target incentive compensation that may be attained in this role. The salary range reflects a good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting.
Actual compensation may vary based on a candidates skills qualifications experience and location. Eligible employees also have the opportunity to become a PTC shareholder through our employee share purchase program (ESPP) which allows for the purchase of discounted PTC stock. Certain roles may also be eligible for participation in our equity programs. Employees may be eligible for medical dental and vision insurance paid time off and sick leave tuition reimbursement 401(k) contributions and employer match flexible spending accounts life insurance disability coverage and if you are an office-assigned employee a generous commuter subsidy.
