Sentara is hiring new Registered Nurses for our special Level Up to Level I Trauma ED Program at Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk Virginia.

This is an exciting opportunity for new Grad RNs seeking to land in the Emergency Department (ED)!

Shift: Full Time Night shift

Overview:

Sentara is a career destination for professional nursing. The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive patient-centered care in a dynamic healthcare setting. This role involves assessing patient needs developing individualized care plans delivering treatments and supporting patients and families with education and compassionate service. The RN collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to monitor patient progress make clinical adjustments and advocate for the best patient outcomes ensuring safety and adherence to evidence-based practices.

All Direct Care RNs required to have BLS within 90 days of hire.

Education

• RN Degree REQUIRED

Certification/Licensure

• Virginia RN License REQUIRED
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required within 90-days of hire

Experience

• Prior RN experience PREFERRED
• Emergency Department (ED) Passion NEEDED!

We provide market-competitive compensation packages inclusive of base pay incentives and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $36.00 - $36.00 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials on-call pay overtime shift premiums extra-shift incentives or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications experience location market conditions and business needs.
