What Youll Do:
As an Early Intervention Clinician you will support children from birth to three years old who have developmental needs working collaboratively with families to create play-based personalized activities that promote learning and growth. You will play a crucial role in helping families manage difficult situations develop strategies to address behavioral challenges and access community resources.
Responsibilities Include:
- Partner with families to develop and implement individualized fun activities that support childrens developmental goals
- Use clinical skills to guide families through challenging circumstances and behavioral management strategies for toddlers
- Collaborate with families to create treatment plans and ensure strategies align with their values and priorities
- Assist families in navigating community resources and advocate for their childrens needs
- Work as part of a dedicated team in family homes and community settings to support children in reaching developmental milestones
Who You Are:
- Masters degree from a recognized accredited institution in counseling psychology clinical psychology mental health counseling marriage & family therapy educational psychology developmental psychology is required.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) by the Massachusetts Board of Allied Mental Health and Human Services ProfessionalsCurrent licensure as a Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW) Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) is preferred.
- Familiarity with internet word processing and email systems
- Valid drivers license safe driving record and reliable transportation
- Bilingual/bicultural candidates are encouraged to apply
