Early Careers Embedded Software Developer

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain software components on current and future products.

• Responsible for the development of the networking related features of the FortiSwitch product line.

• Use AI efficiently to help development and testing

• Hands on in bug fixing current products.

• Implement software features of high quality and on schedule.

• Communicate effectively both verbal and written.

Job Requirements:

• 0-3 years experience in software engineering.

• Strong C/C and Linux experience is essential.

• Fundamental knowledge in networking

• Familiarity with socket programming.

• Knowledge of general QA procedures and methodologies as well as software development fundamentals.

• Knowledge of scripting languages: Shell and Python

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S without sponsorship

Educational Requirements:

• B.S. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering; M.S. preferred.

Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labor market job type and job level. Earnings for this position are expected to be $110000 - $180000. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidates subject knowledge skill level qualifications experience and geographic location.
