Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Summary: The Community Habilitation Specialist is responsible for assisting individuals to become more independent when performing activities of daily living to achieve their valued outcomes. Habilitation services are designed to develop skills to increase an individuals level of independence. Habilitation services may include training supervision or assistance related to communication skills interpersonal skills socialization mobility community transportation skills problem solving skills money management safety cooking and other skills needed to reach their valued outcomes. Services are primarily community based and revolve around recreational opportunities.
Compensation: Include Hourly Rate or Salary/Bonus Info - This is mandatory in certian locations such as NYC.
